Internet Corruption

No internet connection this morning. Called ISP and they insist me to remove the phone splitter, but I DON'T have a splitter attached. @#&%$. Experiences tell me that I just need to wait for few hour or a day then evertything will be ok. At 3pm later, wala! the line re-connect! Really can't figure out what's going wrong since this is the third time I encounter this problem. (get the same answer from ISP everytime -> remove splitter) -.-'
